What Is the Career Assistance Team?

Now in its third year, The Career Assistance Team (C.A.T.) is a student-driven initiative to provide internship and career-related information to IST undergraduates.  The C.A.T. employs five volunteer students who are each available at unique times throughout the week for consultation. For a list of each member's schedules, please visit the Resume Assistance page within this site. Click here to meet the C.A.T. members!

Why Become a C.A.T. Member?

Becoming a C.A.T. member is one of the best ways available to build your professional skill set.  Members develop strong communication and leadership skills.  Plus, it’s one of the best resume boosters out there – employers love to see that their applicants have served in a mentoring role!

How Can I Become a C.A.T. Member?

At the beginning of each academic year, the Office of Career Solutions selects 4-6 students to become members of the team.  However, contact the C.A.T. team at any time to express an interest in joining the group.  Then, at the end of the academic year, the team will consider all interested parties and develop their roster for the fall semester.
